As the owner of Children’s Choice Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, Dr. Anamelechi is passionate about creating not only a phenomenal dental experience for children in the area but being partners with families in the oral health of their child. Her areas of expertise come from years of additional training to include but not limited to laser dentistry, maternal and child health, dental trauma, growth and development. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina Schools of Dentistry and Public Health. Following graduation, she completed the specialized Pediatric Dental Residency Program at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Anamelechi was named one of America’s Top Pediatric Dentists by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. In addition to her private practice, she is a member of the teaching faculty at Children’s National Medical Center and Georgetown University Medical Center. She has privileges at Children’s National Medical Center (Washington, DC), Prince Georges County Hospital (Cheverly, MD), and Bowie Surgical Center (Bowie, MD). Along with professional memberships locally, nationally and internationally, she serves as the president of the DC American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a co-leader of the Medical and Dental Collaboration committee for the DC Pediatric Oral Health Coalition and the Maryland Dental Action Coalition and the DC Pediatric Oral Health Coalition. She is also a speaker for Colgate-Palmolive Oral Health Network Speakers Program.
Dr. Anamelechi is married to Dr. Charles Anamelechi who works for Deloitte Consulting, LLP. She loves mission trips, spending time with her family, and trying new recipes. Together with her son and daughter, she is on her way to becoming a master Playdough builder.

Dr. Kelly Granger is a New York native with a passion for working with families. She is a graduate of Davidson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She started her professional career in health policy before beginning her dental career. She completed dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. She received training in caring for patients with special health care needs, trauma, hospital dentistry and interdisciplinary care on the cleft lip and palate team. Dr. Granger is currently a candidate to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Granger loves spending time with her family including her husband, Alex, and her dog, Ruth. She is an avid reader, explorer, and her favorite hobby is exploring new hobbies.
Dr. Granger has a passion for her profession as a pediatric dentist, providing exceptional dental care for children and trying her best to meet their individual needs. She is gentle and caring and wants her patients to look forward to their next appointment.
Dr. Justin Nunes grew up in the suburbs of Des Moines, Iowa. As the oldest of his generation in the family, Dr. Nunes is passionate about generational oral health. His areas of expertise include the dental management of special healthcare needs children, management of dental pain and trauma, and pediatric and adolescent restorative dentistry. He graduated from Baylor University's College of Health and Human Sciences followed by his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following graduation from UNC, Dr. Nunes completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Children's National Hospital here in Washington, DC.
Outside of his career, Dr. Nunes enjoys exploring DC, traveling near & far, discovering new culinary combinations, and spending time with his plants and a cup of coffee.
Dr. Lenford Sutton II graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. He then received his Master of Science in Public Health and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Following graduation. Dr. Sutton completed his postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University in Washington, DC.
As a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Sutton is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. He enjoys staying current with changes in Pediatric Dentistry through continuing education courses and attending national conferences.
Dr. Sutton enjoys building relationships with each child while seeking to provide specialized and comprehensive dental care for children of all ages and patients with special needs. Along with providing exceptional dental care, Dr. Sutton also seeks to provide guidance through mentorship in any way he can. Dr. Suttonis also a big kid at heart. He loves sports (Go Noles!), movies, listening to music and gaming in his spare time
Dr. Davina Bailey was born and raised on the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago in the southern Caribbean. She spent several of her childhood years in Ottawa, Ontario Canada before moving to and settling in the US.
She graduated from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida with her Bachelor’s degree and then moved to Washington DC for her training in dentistry, at Howard University College of Dentistry. She graduated from dental school in 2011 and stayed at Howard University to complete specialty training in orthodontics. She has been working and loving her experience as an orthodontist ever since!
Dr. Bailey lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and son and really enjoys living in the Washington DC area (except for the traffic!). In her spare time, she likes to explore the DMV region, with all the cultural and other activities that the area has to offer. Cooking with her husband is one of her favorite pastimes and they are always looking for new recipes to try! She loves to play tennis, enjoys outdoor activities with her family and travel. Dr. Bailey feels that the best part of her job is the interaction with her patients and their families, learning about their interests and seeing her patients grow and thrive throughout the process of creating their new smile!
Yewande (Wande) Johnson is a native of North Carolina. She grew up in Greensboro in a fun family of four siblings. She attended The University of North Carolina for both undergraduate (chemistry major) and medical school. At UNC she pledged the Kappa Omicron chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She’s proud to be a third generation Delta.
After completing a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center, Wande stayed on as faculty. She was previously NIH funded in pediatric pharmacology studying the effects of genetics on opioid metabolism. She helped develop a diversity and inclusion infrastructure within Children’s National to increase the number of underrepresented minorities in academic medicine. After 20 years she left CNH to explore new opportunities.
Other activities include serving on the St. John’s Episcopal Church Vestry, The University of North Carolina Board of Visitors, and the executive board for the District of Columbia Society of Anesthesiologists. She is now a board member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling (has visited all seven continents), cooking, watching basketball, and gathering with family and friends.
As the newest member of our experienced team of specialists, Dr. Terri Ambrose is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist from Brooklyn, New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and completed her advanced dental degree at Howard University College of Dentistry. While at Howard, Dr. Ambrose discovered her passion for working with children, especially those with special needs.
